Before you read any further, I want to make sure everyone know that I am not going to talk about a "plr content magic bullet" or something that is going to change your life financially without some effort on your part. But, if you have at least a little ambition, you will become successful at what I am about to explain. As you will see in my story below, it's not as hard as you might think as long as you can put your mind to it.
Not too long ago, I lost my job. It was a horrible feeling. Picture yourself losing your job -- how would you feel? We all know what the economy is like these days and I was just another victim. Needless to say, I was a wreck after finding out. How would I take care of my family, pay my mortgage, even simpler things like eating? I knew I had to find something fast. As you will see....I found exactly what I needed.
The cool thing was that I also learned something else as well that helped out my household. I won't explain that now because it isn't related to my money making story - but if you read to the end I will reveal what I mean there.
I had a little experience with some online money making and have been dabbling a bit with affiliate marketing with a little success but nothing that would allow me to do it full time. Since I already had some online experience, I had some success and was making some money -- But, the problem was that the money was not coming in fast enough and I really wasn't making even a fraction of what I needed to keep everything paid. All these affiliate companies also had policies to hold your money for the first 30 to 60 days -- not to mention, what if they decided not to pay me. I know I still have money owed to me from a couple different affiliate companies...not sure if I will ever see it! The bills were piling up and I needed money now!
This got me thinking that maybe I could make some money by selling things online and getting money in my Paypal account directly. It only takes a few days for Paypal money to get to my bank account. This is when I discovered PLR Content -- or private label rights content. What I realized was that there are sites out there that you can become a member of that will give you ebooks on various topics that you can sell online and keep all the money yourself. All you need to do is:
- Create a small one page website on the product or ebook you want to sell.
- Promote your site.
- Get money!!
The other bad part was that some of these PLR Content membership sites that I found were very EXPENSIVE with these huge monthly fees! Until I found the Private Label Chest.
I don't know who was watching down on me from heaven but I happened to hit something right at the right time. You see, at that time, Private Label Chest was just starting and was in need of a group of people to beta test the site. I just happened to get there in time to become a beta tester! Through this beta testing time, I got to see how the site grew, problems were discovered and solved and we got to make suggestions to the owner to make it the best it could be. I know from seeing it and being involved that a huge amount of work was put into this site to make it as easy as possible for people like us to make money online. This is where my crazy PLR content adventure really started cooking!
As soon as I logged on my Private Label Chest account, I noticed the variety of niches that were available -- I spent hours looking over the products and the cool thing was that more products kept appearing as time went by. I learned later that Private Label Chest has a "drip" system that keeps adding available ebooks to sell online -- the longer you stay a member, the more products become available. Plus, they give you software to help you keep track of all these products to help you keep everything organized -- trust me, with the number of products available, it is a huge asset to have included!
Remember how I said that I was not looking forward to having to learn how to build a site from scratch? Well, there was another thing I noticed at Private Label Chest. Not only were there ebooks to sell, but they had included websites as well! All I needed to do was upload the files to my webserver and instantly the site was there. A quick change to the code, and my site was done! Literally about 10 minutes work and a complete site was live and ready to be promoted and earn money.
Another huge bonus that I happened to notice was what they call the "Premium Products". These not only include the site and ebook -- they also include all the keyword research so you know what keywords to target in Google, blog layouts, email marketing materials and everything else you need to help you make money! Using one of these premium products, I was able to quickly create a professional looking niche business complete with an email course, blog, and ebook selling site and it took literally no time at all!
Now of course, I had to promote it to make some money but luckily I also happened to find another site (which is owned by the same person as Private Label Chest), an online marketing school, that helped me learn how to make the most of these types of sites. Unfortunately, I can't reveal it yet because it is still in beta testing but I can inform you when it goes live-- which will be very soon. ...and what else did I learn. Well, I have a dog that likes to roam. I hated letting him out but I hated just as much to tie him up or leave him inside. I noticed an ebook in the Private Label Chest about building fences. I was able to learn how to build a fence around my yard myself and save money doing it. My dog loves it!
